Their cat builds a mecha that pulls out a card and successfully pays for it.

The mecha costs more than what they were paying for.

Thought it was about sick pay at first with the “ill pay”, haha.

Sometimes we can forgo punctuation, sometimes we can’t.

I’ve always wondered what happens in these situations? I got close one time when I went to buy some stuff at Walmart and my card was dexlined(turns out my card was stolen, spent all my money on tik tok, called bank and charges were reversed in 2 days). I had to leave without getting the food I was trying to buy so it was a little difficult figuring out meals for those 2 days but I survived.

But at a restaurant, I can’t give the meal back. I wouldn’t assume they just write off the cost. If it was out of my control(like my example above) police should not really need to be involved. I doubt the old story of being forced to wash dishes for the night to pay for the meal is true.

    So what actually happens?

If you can explain that you have the money to pay, you just can’t get to it at the moment, you can leave something valuable or your ID card at the restaurant and return with the money later.

If you can’t pay even later, it’s petty theft and they may get police involved.

My luck I would leave my ID and then get pulled over on way home…

        “license, insurance and registration…”

“look officer, you probably won’t believe this…”

Job market is rough right now… could this be a life hack for getting a position at a restaurant??
