Mopping actually sucked so much because we didn’t have buckets for 'em. And our boss would yell at us that the floors weren’t clean enough despite knowing we didn’t have any water to use and could basicslly just dust and sweep with the mops. 😬

The most fun thing I did when I worked on a cruise ship was cleaning up the conference rooms at the very top deck during a test where they turned the stabalizers off. Those rooms were basically empty except for rolling desk chairs, and we would just ride those suckers as the ship was tossed around by the waves.

It would be kinda cool if newly discovered critters and plants had that modern naming convention for real. It’d sure make it a lot easier to remember the scientific names.

Even if it was legal, you’d still become a target for fucking with big powers like the government of a major country.

Food deserts are created because of racism and greed. Racism keeps minorities in particular areas, which also keeps them impovrished, and businesses don’t see potential for profit in those areas so they don’t build stores there. The businesses will then lie and say it is because of crime.

What kind of radishes are you most familiar with? I’ve never had a sour radish; but I’ve only ever had two or three kinds and there are tons of varieties. 🤷‍♂️
