China has the right to defend themselves from American economic pressure; and i commend them for their great efforts in fighting against american restriction and economic terrorism. America loves to starve countries that they don’t like; Just look at what they are doing to Cuba. I also hope China takes the mantle of giving the world options for American corruption in means that are both economy and technology.

The point stands; However intellectual cucks wants to use AI, they should go for local and open source models instead of wasting so many infrastructure, power and resources on bigger models. This technology needs to be humbled, scaled down. If you are prompting this from an LLM i think you are suffering from “model gap” The lack of updated information out of llm models that were trained on data from last year: LLm development was exponential in it’s infancy, but we have reached far past that potential, right now the increments are becoming smaller and smaller until the energy costs and amount of data scraped become unfeasible for the returns.

China is important as a much needed counterweight to American hegemony. a “lesser evil”
As for the intellectual cuckoldry; I use that term for any intellectual operation that is entirely take over by an external agent. And to stay on topic I don’t need 600 billion dollars in data center infrastructure and all the water in the world to write these comments in my little tablet. and neither do you need all that infrastructure to use an open source model to do whatever you use ai for. Thus no need for data centers!
