I love making weird sounds, here’s some of my music: https://etherphon.bandcamp.com/

The stuff up there right now is a tad old, but it is some music that deals with my struggles with my realizations about my sexuality and gender, thus some of it is a little difficult and discordant. I’m working on some more joyous music. It’s 100% hardware based (synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, effects), no computer, DAW or AI involved in recording.
I love synthesizers, all sorts of music (mostly electronic), b/cult movies, science fiction, DIY, graphics design, PC hardware, retro computing (Commodore <3), cooking, singing. I’m truly sorry to anyone I have unintentionally hurt in my confusion about my identity. Love and light.

Yeah, there are cool bikes of all sorts for sure, I would like to try sometimes. I was just saying the particular bike (harleys, choppers, big loud things) and lifestyle that was sold as freedom was anything but, those bikes cost as much as a car now.

Being from the home state of Harley Davidson, more sympathetic I could not be. I hate it lol. They have giant rallies here all the time, back some years ago there was some big anniversary and the whole city was literally filled with them. It was kinda cool but loud as hell. I had a lot of thoughts about how the thought of freedom became intertwined with the freedom of mobility and for a while the motorcycle was sold as the ultimate symbol of freedom in stuff like Easy Rider, it went from hippies into bikers and addicted a generation to leather and gasoline. They did a hell of a job with it.

I have no idea how you gleaned that from what I said. I was talking about my personal experiences and not talking about anything else.

Keep going, my Ryzen 5 5600X will be cool again :)

Yeah, it is pretty striking, because it hints at something much larger, such as Meta being the cause of political unrest to further it’s own agenda. That is striking indeed. They should be fully investigated and dismantled in a fair and just democracy.
What it has spurned, as usual with tech, are talentless hacks trying to make easy money for nothing.

Yeah I’m not sure exactly what the solution is since it’s obviously a problem that has plagued mankind since the beginning. We’ll figure it out some day, or not.

What do you know the American badass tough guy freedom tea party patriot is just a big old toddler who wants a daddy.

Sure, dismissal and outright denial can put you in dark places, alcoholism for a lot of years, other drugs, just doing nothing. In the dark metaphorically speaking.

I suppose that’s what all those BS AI news stories were about, and like moltbook and all that other junk. Just trying to keep it alive for longer to fix it or drum up more money or get the money out of the country idk. Sheesh.

Yeah that seems more likely, such as neatchee laid out. They got the perfect guy for it. God damn it.

Wow, yeah that seems like something that’s totally plausible, in fact I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you were right. The kind of people involved with all of this tech are not the most genuine bunch of people.

Haha, well what seemed like a nightmare scenario in 1999 is not so different from daily life in 2026 as it stands. People are just locked into their own worlds instead of being used as batteries, I suppose they’re technically being used as piggy banks.

What is the greater good though, just keep hurtling our monkey bodies through the cosmos as far as we can, possibly with the help of robots? I think we need to ask ourselves a lot of questions about the technology we use to heal people. As it is right now it’s a very classist and racist system of who gets the current technology. I don’t see it getting particularly better in the future, and with even more advanced technology, then yes you are going to further drive a wedge between the people who live 160 years and the people who live 50 years.

Yeah, I would rather that too honestly, it makes a lot more sense, but I suppose my main point was they should be on a separate system than commuters, whatever that may :)
I guess it’s something to do
