Foobar, my love. No other audio player comes close. It’s so minimal and so powerful and fast.

Foobar2000 for me for audio! Handles hundreds of thousands of songs on a standard USB HDD over the network incredibly fast, plays every audio file, best tag editing features I’ve ever seen, full conversion from lossless to other formats, a hella minimal interface dark before they was a common thing, and a tiny footprint.

Incredible piece of software. I love it so much.

That would be very helpful for me, thank you so much! I am VERY new to docker, but managed to get something difficult up and running with it (a modded game server) with a lotttt of trial and error. I imagine it’ll be a lot easier to get something much less specific going!

What kinda monitor arm is that? I have one for a lil monitor I have but it uses a clamp on the top and bottom of the screen instead of screwing in. I’m looking for one that doesn’t stress the screen with so much pressure!

Niiiiice! I did SLI 7900GTs when Crysis came out and it ran at like 40+ FPS even with explosions on screen! It cost me an unholy amount…

the machine I now use for Beat Saber wasn’t as crazy as the Crysis machine: it’s an i5-4790k, 16 or 32GB DDR3, and a couple SSDs. I replaced its 1070 just because I had a better card laying around. I hope it works well for many years to come! It’s also SOMEHOW inexplicably powered by a 500w bronze semi-modular PSU that seems like it’s going to go on forever into eternity… I hope so, it’s been so good to me!

I have a machine that’s 12 years old, I built it back in the early 2010s. I have some extra video cards laying around so I slapped a 2080 in and it’s now a dedicated Beat Saber machine (I don’t touch Facebook or Google code on any device with PII, so I’ve really missed playing Beat Saber.)

It runs at 90+FPS no matter the song, and it’s got about 500 songs so far. I love that machine soooo much.

Yup! 100% correct. The replacement flavors all contain a GRAS (generally recognized as safe for human consumption) replacement chemical that, if overused, tastes like vomit barf… cuz it’s in barf! If used in the correct quantity though, it creates a nice creamy/buttery/smooth flavor. Thank you, CAP Vanilla Custard 2.0 bottle I’ve had for like a decade and should replace!

I loved arguing and being just overall mean and negative and a cunt to people on Reddit who posted really absolute complete garbage sludge, like parroting the same tired Le Epic phrases that were already posted 20 times in the comment section before they squeezed the rubbish bin juice out of their half-a-brain cell enough to comment “pLaY StUpiD GamEs, Win…” and when they’d get mad at me for being mean I’d always have a great time.

I can’t really do that here. It’s nice. I don’t really see completely horrible dumb garbage here very often. It’s very refreshing. So I don’t really feel the need to be a cunt anymore. As much.

Yah, it was a big ol subculture in the 00s. Still kinda around but nowhere near as much. I grew up around some. Crunchy as hell but extremely anti-racist and anti-homophobia (despite almost all of them gratuitously using the word “fag” and all its other forms, but that was the style at the time.) I had almost entirely good experiences with them.
