Having seen a herd of these alive and up close once, I would like to encourage our courageous and mighty president to do it himself in person. Alone. Well maybe with some live video feeds so we can all watch his Herculean efforts. While eating popcorn.

Burgum’s friend, the Republican governor of Montana, Greg Gianforte, celebrated the decision, promising to “stand with our farmers and ranchers against federal overreach”. He said: “We must ensure that public lands remain accessible and productive, rather than being locked away for the vision of special interests.”

Right, because ranchers aren’t their own special interest group. 🙄

We need to switch to a lot more small local sustainable community farming practices and way less industrial farming

Subsidize small local farmers who use sustainable practices like cover crops and permaculture. We need to overhaul our system and move away from this corrupt industrial farming scam system. Everyone who can should have chickens and a vegetable garden at home. Imagine how much better things would be if the majority had this?

Look up how much corn gets used for ethanol.

Then look up how much of the soybean harvest is shipped overseas (before Trump ruined the markets)

These absolute ass warts can’t even keep enough cattle in stock to keep GROUND FUCKING BEEF under $4 a pound and they still want to take over the “cheap federal land” (their words) from the native goddamn animals.

FOR WHAT? DICKS. YOU WON’T EVEN RAISE ENOUGH CATTLE TO FEED US ON THE GODDAMN GROUND YOU ALREADY CONTROL.

    Fuck this shit.

    edit:

This group the American Prairie Reserve: They intended to purchase 500k acres and then take control of the leases of BLM graze to the tune of 3 million acres for the bison. So yeah, this is just Montana cattlepricks kicking the “stupid eco-trash” out of Montana.

Fuuuuuuck, I will never spend a single dime in that state.

I saw this photo in person last week at a museum in Dodge City, Kansas. Man will exploit any and all resources with little regard for the consequences.

The bison fur coat from the 1800s was neat though.

America killed all of the buffalo to starve the indigenous. It was part of the genocide and the manifest destiny colonial expansion project

You could probably reverse search it but it’s just two buffalo hunters standing on a pile of skulls. Impressive, yet standard wild west shit. That photo is in a lot of books and on a lot of websites.

Industrial scale hunting with the “convenient side effect” of destroying the primary food source for the native population - thus making it easier to expand and occupy the land.
