Both names in this passage seem familiar and yet the only book about vampires I ever read was Brahm Stoker’s Dracula. Was this adapted into a movie?
If I’m not mistaken, this is the opening to Interview with the Vampire, which was turned into a movie with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.
The name Lestat was also used in the film Queen of the Damned for the main vampire protagonist IIRC.
What book is this? Is it a good read? Please and thank you!
