As an American I feel the same way.

A few years ago a friend of mine commented that Texas even being questionable (this was when Beto ran against Ted Cruz) was good because it meant the GOP had to spend money in Texas rather than using the state like a bank account to fund races in swing states. Texas turning blue is a massive blow to the national GOP.

Of course now we all need to hammer on our reps to move forward on real progressive legislation, like abolishing ICE and instituting universal healthcare and higher education.

Everything he does to look better makes him look weirder and worse.

One early example I heard about slop code being bad was that if you have a process that is repeated, an LLM will not write a function that is broadly scoped so it can handle a significant number of related use cases, it will write different code for each instance, so when that process fails you have no idea which version is responsible. Seems like the kind of thing QA would flag.
