No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•If a famous person or character's likeness is copyrighted and you need to license it to use it, could you find a real-life lookalike and say you modelled your character off of *that* person instead?
5·14 days agoSurprised there isn’t a more concrete example from like a case of a lookalike celebrity doing porn by now.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Before Wolverine got his adamantium body, could he grow back his bone claws do to his healing factor? Or is it just for skin muscile and organs?
121·18 days agoInteresting. Prompted ai on the lore. It seems like it depends what you want to believe. I choose to believe that prior to later adaptations. In the original history, he always had healing powers along with the adamantium body, so the answer would be the lore never had any background on it. Later, it was shown that, yes, the claws were part of his bones, and if he could grow claws, then he could also grow bones.

37·1 month agoHmm… Interesting essay question. I think for the year it happened, yes-ish. Had it been today, it would have been like whatevs, because everyone is giving away their privacy in exchange for some functionally. And so, as I think back on it, it didn’t really mattered. I think this could’ve been debated either way.
F you for saying it and F my life for the following. I worked customer service. And my performance (meaning my job) was based entirely on customer satisfaction. Job would have been kind of chill if it was just helping people without that customer satisfaction crap. Unhappy customers were bad, but the worst part was my manager; he would have the “talk” with me about why customer service is easy and why can’t I have more happy customers. This was one months in which I did not have enough happy customers because not enough people submitted a survey with the highest rating.

Digital DRM. Lol. What a fool. All of my games are either DRM free or… DRM free (by other means).
