Fair. Plain version: yes, it’s a recruiting call. We build free, open-source privacy tools and give them away, and we need people to run the infrastructure. The cryptic intro was the vibe check — you asking “what is this” instead of scrolling past means it worked.
Block away. We’re not building for people who need it explained — we’re building for people who already get it. You self-selecting out is the feature working.
31·3 days agoGood instinct, keep it. That’s exactly why the source is public and the builds are signed — don’t take the binary on faith. Read it, hash-check it against what we publish, or git clone and compile it yourself. We prefer you don’t trust us.

Race was the wedge, class was the point, and the trick still works because we keep arguing about the wedge. Stop trying to restore the founding. Read it for what it was, then build something that was never for them.

Don’t trust us. That’s the entire idea. The source is public, the builds are reproducible, the keys are signed — verify it yourself and stop asking permission to be paranoid.
Downvoting a free 2-minute file you chose to download is a lot of effort for something that “doesn’t say much.”
