I am sick and tired of seeing artificial intelligence every this way and that. I believe the time has come to form an alliance of people disgruntled with AI.

Exactly, yes you can. That’s an issue also. I never said it’s exclusive to AI, but as a member of an anti-AI community, my focus is on the AI aspect

Pretty sure AI has been obsessed with antisemitism in the past. But I think for the most part people are missing the point: my point is as much about how people use/manipulate what AI says. Like some shit stirrer could make AI say that, screenshot it, crop the prompt out and post it on social media, claiming ‘AI said this, AI said that’ do cause some damage (and to be clear: I’m not giving specific examples of what kind of damage that could do, just speaking about it in a more general sense). And yes, I’m aware that this is not something exclusive to AI, but AI is nonetheless a helpful tool to these people regardless
You make some really good points.
Also, and this isn’t a criticism of you, but why do people keep pointing out that what I’m saying is ‘nothing new/surprising’? I never advertised it as anything new/surprising. We all know AI does strange stuff, this is simply another example of that 🤨

Not that example specifically, but when AI is manipulated for other, darker purposes in the same manner (e.g. people figuring out how to unalive themselves by hiding it under the guise of ‘medical research’ or something)
Yes, they have. That’s exactly my point, And now they can do it just as easily, if not more easily, with AI (after all, AI is not going to pipe up and say ‘I said that, it’s fake’ if it reads it in the newspaper like humans might)
Why do you think it is that countries won’t enforce this?
That’s what I don’t get about people who try to justify AI by saying ‘well it’s not always wrong’
It’s not about the fact that it’s not always wrong, it’s about the fact that it might very well bloody kill you if it gets something severely wrong
Yes, I agree. It’s amazing how artificial intelligence will always be a ‘shadow’ or ‘emulation’ rather than a practical, genuine intelligence
