Trusting a company that is in a country that has no enforcement means your trusting the company it self entirely to stay honest. At least with proton, no matter what the idiots at the top want. They still have to comply with their local laws.
That alone keeps proton above airVPN if your using a VPN for privacy reasons. It always will, no matter what. The entire country would have to change its laws for that to change.
