Definitely. While I agree with rolling back some of these tech first policies, I think we need to be focusing on HOW it’s used.

I worry that disabled kids will be caught in the line of fire, too.

Say this stupid bullshit was true: you’re spending so much time baby minding the fucking thing that you’re not saving time?!? I don’t doubt that slop generators can code. But can they generate good code AND save you time? No.

It’s a weird one for me, because it feels inevitable anyway, and I’m at the point where I just wanna get it over with 🫠

I just don’t agree with the sentiment about how FOSS devs need it because theyre usually one man shows.

I’m a FOSS dev, and yes, I’m a one gal show. But, I was doing this before AI and I’ll be doing it the same way long after. I don’t want a so called “tool” that’s going to hallucinate security problems into my work.
