The mama horse gets violent when other horses try to see the baby. Sadly, they’ll probably never get to actually meet. Mama and baby are being sold and will be going away once baby is weaned. They’ll get good homes though. I heard Mama already has several people wanting her. I haven’t heard of any takers for baby, but idk if his sale ad has even been put out yet

She apparently had quite a few babies when she was younger. She’s a purebred Arabian, so those babies woulda been sold for a pretty penny if they were arabs. Even crosses like quarabs or araapaloosas woulda made bank

One of the other mama cats has a litter of 3 that haven’t even opened their eyes yet. Two orange tabbys and one grey. She shows me them every time I go to the barn. First time she showed me, they were still wet.

Incredible timing

Yo I love all of those too. I have to wake up early for work and I hate it. Thankfully, I wfh so I can wake up 5 mins before I have to clock in. I also work from the comfort of my bed most days because why the fuck not lol.

I dedicate every Saturday and most Sundays to doing whatever the fuck I want. I wish I could live my weekend life all the time. Being a wage slave suuuuuuuucks.

She can still have things get outta place, so there may be a need for treatment in the future, but she is very sound and sturdy for her age, so she should be good to go as long as I stick with exercising her.

Hoping it’s a one-time fix, but we have to get an exercise regimen together with small near-daily workouts so she can build muscle. She’s finally got the weight, now she just need the muscles to carry it properly.

I’m really glad the barn has a covered roundpen! It’ll make working on rainy days a thing lol.

Addition: I totally want to adopt him but I do not have the finances to swing it. So imma just hope that he’s one of the lil ones that makes it to adulthood. Barn cat life is rough. Better than him staying a barn cat would be someone at the barn adopting him who can afford it.
