So your whole point is that you shouldn’t trust one of the biggest cloud backup companies on the planet when they say that your data is encrypted, with no proof that they’re telling lies…and you’re asking me to prove that they’re telling the truth?

The onus is on you to prove that they’re telling lies, not on me to prove what they say is true.

Time is money, and the time it would take to keep those backups up to date is not worth it over cloud backups.

Being able to download an encrypted file is not the same as being able to download it and unencrypt it, which they can’t do.

The cost of B2 storage is very high, what are you talking about? USD$6 per terabyte per month would be like $4k a year for me.

I switched to a DAS for my storage and use backblaze to back up all 50TB+. I couldn’t find a cost effective way to do it with a NAS.

Cloudflare definitely is a huge single point of failure, and it is a huge problem imo - but what can we do? Their product is so widely used because of how comprehensive, good, and necessary it is.

OP wants remote streaming - that’s a no for jellyfin, especially for people who couldn’t handle the sonarr/radarr UI.

Whenever you’re browsing even a semi popular website these days there’s probably a 98% chance you’re hitting a cloudflare cached version of it. Have you been asleep the last 10 years?

Cloudflare definitely can and does stop the vast majority of actual professional bad guys.

You don’t really need to “get into them” if all you want to do is rename your movies/episodes - just point it at your library and hit rename.
