No, they’re because of the weird casual racism from the other poster.

Yes pointing out behaviors of white people is always racism according to racist white people.

Those that trace their roots from light skinned people from Europe or who visually pass as such. It is just as stupid as the criteria the Nazis used, because it is the same mindset.

There is also a common view in the US that was even enshrined into law if someone has a single black ancestor they are no longer white. This is still a very common viewpoint despite the laws being overturned in the courts in the 60s because we are still massively racist as a country.

I see, essentially this is vibe testing for race.

I was confused because I went to the census website and it looks like northern African and Middle Eastern people are considered white, something I thought most Americans wouldn’t agree with. Your response makes more sense.

Egyptians are a perfect example of how stupid the whole thing is. A lot of people consider light skinned Egyptians white until they find out that Egypt is in Africa and then their heads explode.

It’s irrelevant to the correctness of the claim. It does not say only white people appropriate the term.

If you use the term to mean anything beyond the inherent racism towards black people in America, you can consider yourself included regardless of your skin tone.

You both used the same “white people” label, I would think any of the two could give me an answer.

My use of white peoples was a reference to specifically racist white people denying their racism. That applies to any racist that self identifies as white.
