I think the long-term burning is for deep in the BWCA wilderness where it’s inaccessible. Which shouldn’t really hurt the wilderness long-term since there’s tons of natives that need fire to germinate.

Minnesota is really well governed as a state. I lived in Illinois for a few years and that state government is a mess. I am glad you have good support to there. The snow clearing makes sense to be top tier. It’s just a necessity and completely expected
