Directly? Talk to “God,” and thoughts and prayers for the people.

Indirectly? He just told around a billion and a half Catholics to resist/disobey illegal orders. That’s not nothing.

And a lot of American Conservatives use ‘christian values’ as an excuse to support awful things.

Trump threatening genocide out loud is horrendous. All of the world leaders that barely shrug off the threat if at all are horrendous.

It’s normalization of the absolute worst.

“unacceptable” is too weak of a word to describe this.

It’s unacceptable to be late for your appointments.

It’s unacceptable to swear in front of small kids.

    It’s unacceptable to be disrespectful.

Wiping out a whole nation in a genocide is abhorrent, repugnant and unconscionable.

Grow some balls Pope. Be like Jesus when he rampaged and destroyed the market place.

But a foul ball is a foul ball. Whether it falls on the field, the crowd or the street isn’t the Pope’s business.

If JD were to put a bullet in Trump’s head, he’d be pardoned by the next president for saving the planet.

Somebody stole the Holy H-Bomb of Antioch. A team of Vatican operatives is dispatched to find it before the story hits the press. Reporters pull some threads and start taking rumors of the heist a little more seriously by the time the bomb is located. Action scene on a ship in bad weather, baddies get pulped, biblically-inspired one-liners add insult to fatal injury.

Because of details, the team has to heroically sacrifice itself to scuttle the ship (conveniently located over a deep trench or other feature to make recovery practically impossible). Cool explosion with what’s left in the effects budget.

Final scenes open on a Vatican spokesperson successfully convincing a bunch of reporters that there’s nothing to these crazy stories about the nuke being stolen and what a tragedy that accidental oil rig fire was. Behind closed doors, power-havers decide that the world can never know the truth and lay it on thick with a message about the power of faith.

            Money please, Hollywood.

When the pope is spitting more facts than the news. What a time to be alive.
