I should be able to go to a courthouse, show my contract and bank statement, then the boss gets charged, unless he can prove that I was fired previously or some acceptable justification, he gets treated like any street criminal who stole 1000s $ from Walmart.
Wage theft is bigger than all other theft, but far fewer people are dragged onto the sidewalk and strangled to death for it. Maybe that should change.
