Because one’s a license, which can usually never be sold or transferred, but each specific contract you agree to specifies this. If you’re buying a game on GoG, it’s because it’s drm free. Which means it’s also drm free on Steam. So anyone looking at those games, would understand the context that we’re talking about the same type of games.
