If you haven’t been banned from the community, this is not a ban evasion, it’s avoiding the authoritarianism of an irresponsible mod who dishonestly abuses their power. This is the action I hate most in moderation, and it shows that this mod have no life!
Even though I don’t really want to get a pet because I don’t want to get too attached and end up heartbroken when it dies! If I ever change my mind, I’d get a dog. I also really like owls in general, but I don’t want to get a bird just to keep it locked in a cage for the rest of its life just because I want to feel like Harry Potter lol!

I worked with a manager who lived by the rule “everyone is replaceable”! Whenever conflict happened between employees, he would simply let them go, or fire one of them, instead of trying to resolve the conflict, completely ignoring the team chemistry and the dynamic they had built, as well as the time it would take to hire and train someone new from scratch. Sometimes, he’d even pull someone from a completely different department just to fill the gap. He didn’t believe in specialization at all! To him, anyone could be dumped into any position, it’s as simple as that!

I disagree with you. Censorship is very important in many cases because things can be said that might cause disasters, so we shouldn’t be tolerent or lenient with them.
In Egypt, for example, an author named Farag Fouda was killed in the 90s by a citizen after hearing a Sheikh called for his death! And incidents like these have been repeated many times all over the world!
At the same time, we must set a clear boundary that, once crossed, an individual gets punished, so we do not equate someone anti-Semitic and anti-Black with someone who says he is gay and presents progressive ideas in his songs!
Also, education is important, but enforcing strict laws acts as a deterrent and increases society’s protection against horrible hate crimes.
Wow! I just googled these two bands and found out why they were canceled. Honestly, I didn’t expect them to reach that point. I know a Lebanese band called Mashrou’ Leila that was banned from entering Arabic-speaking countries because they support homosexuality, and even the band’s lead singer came out as gay himself. So the reasons for cancellation here and there are vastly different, lol.

Admitting a mistake and fixing it generally earns respect, whether you are a leader or not. But that mistake shouldn’t have led to something horrible, like someone’s death, and we must make sure that it was unintentional!

I think this is because many religions convince their followers that they are the center of the uni, and that the sun, mountains, animals, and birds were all created to serve them. In contrast, non-religious people are much more likely to see the bigger picture, that they are simply part of nature.
Also, some religions like Islam for example, treat dogs as something to be avoided. For example, there’s a Hadith that says: “Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture”! So that is the case with Islam, since I come from a Muslim background.
Interestingly, law is considered a more effective deterrent for immoral people than religion itself!
There’s no way for a person to learn other than making a lot of errors, or talking to people who got scammed to understand how it happened. As long as we’re alive, until we die, we’ll keep learning.
