Like, I’ve been turned back to pay for items that a cashier missed without cops being called and they didn’t arrest (or fire) the cashier either. There’s really no reason to go straight to “arrest for theft”


No, the malfunctioning scanner did not cause this… The aggressive policing of these types of errors is what did. When it became clear the items weren’t scanned, they should have turned her back to go pay for them, not arrest her right then and there

If you do, you may also need to get EU versions of the games… I don’t know if they’re still region locking them but at the very least used to be a common practice
This makes me so glad I stopped shopping there a long time ago, that sounds like a horrid experience. And if any store I shop at pulls that and I have literally any other option, I won’t be going back for more
