Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•In a domestic fridge, should milk be lined up, oldest to newest from the hinge, or away from the hinge, and why?English
1·3 months agoHinge of no relevance - in left to right reading countries, oldest should be on the left, it is what we intuit as “first”.
Front to back > *, but you didn’t allow for that option, so I’m imagining a fridge so full of milk that the rows are already front to back sorted, and we’re just deciding what order to put the rows in.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Doorbell rang; I didn't answer. Later noticed porch vid showed teen girl needing help. How do I stop kicking myself for not answering?English

This. Just block and move on. jfc some people have issues.
“YOU’RE NOT DOING THINGS THE EXACT WAY I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD BE DOING THINGS, WAH WAH”
Who thinks they’re the centre of the world here exactly?
Edit/P.S. Glad everything worked out - and I not only wouldn’t have answered the door, but wouldn’t have bothered to check the camera after either. It’s always door-to-door bs of one form or another around here … or car thieves.
I hate companies going out of their way to try to keep me for modifying/repairing hardware I BOUGHT. 😛
The problem is right there in the name - “Oh shit, everyone has a set of Torx bits now… let’s fuck with them so they don’t work anymore! evil laughter” … even using Torx to try to “keep people out” though (which is by far the most common purpose I’ve seen and now of course we have companies like Nintendo and BMW trying to go even further and more proprietary to do it) can get fucked. I bought the hardware, it is mine.
