There’s kind of a catch here that explains why wireless has taken off. A lot of people do not, for whatever reason, respect the integrity of the cable and the strain relief at either end. Wires are this artificial abomination, a means to an end, and something to be contended with rather than cared for. They’re stored as a tangled mess, and recovered and un-tangled in a stream of stressed movements and much swearing. The result is broken, bent, crimped, strained, and ultimately broken wires.

Instead, wires must be cared for in specific ways and that is a skill that just isn’t taught to everyone. It hurts my soul every time I notice this.

Now that you mention it, the fight choreography in T2 really is something that helps the story feel more grounded. Connor vs T1000 is certainly a good example, but the T800 vs T1000 fights are all the right kinds of klunky vs fluid, respectively. There are probably other subtle examples in this film.

What I love about this video is not that he pulled it off (more or less), but that it helps illustrate just how hard it is to use atmospheric carbon for just about anything.

I started watching CEE out of curiosity, but damn, it’s a good channel. Our host is just low-key charismatic, and wastes no time getting into laying out the problem, customer requirements, and how we’re going to fix things. Then the big machines are put to work, which is just a treat to watch. Wrap it all up with a brisk but informative narrative style, and an adorable tank of a dog that helps break up the content, and it really is a good watch. Dare I say a comfy watch at that.

If the former, that tracks. If you’re heavy-set, getting in an out of a sedan (for example) is just plain uncomfortable. Meanwhile, having a seat you can just swing your hips into, or even climb up into, probably works a lot better.
