You don’t need 170+ GB of VRAM. Whole model can be run at around 1 token/second on a modern hardware from an ssd. Which is slow, don’t get me wrong, but it still somewhat useable.

As a russian, who kind of used to bots on russian internet, there a trick: if bots started defending something — that it means it’s true.

I do believe so, yes. There was couple of cases in last year, but never to this extend. If I understand correctly, reading arch thread, it something to do with the fact that anyone can “adopt” orphaned package on AUR. Which is kinda wild.

My work can’t be done on linux (company uses ms ecosystem on purpose, even RDP can’t be connected from linux), what exactly your point?

There like, 2 or 3 scenarios where linux actually faster and/or gives more FPS in games in all other cases it’s either on par, or worse than windows.

I wanted to post my photo in a dress on lemmy’s r/femboy alternative. Searched: one of the instance blocked, second one have 8 months gap between posts (basically dead). There whooping 2.5 users on lemmy, who are interested in femboys and I’m one of them.

While most people agree with you on paper - no one wanna switch, cause there no real alternative. Similar with google, youtube, windows, nvidia and all other IT monopolistic crap.
