Six hours ago, I did my first round of IPL hair removal. It hurt so badly, I wept. The attendant who did the procedure was so amazingly kind and supportive emotionally that it made me cry even more. Sorry it wasn’t a cry with deeper meaning. 🤣 For me it was deep, because it was my first step towards doing something - anything - for my body, of my own volition. 🩵

I climbed one of those construction site cranes to prove my courage. I was 13 or 14 years old. Today I’m 37 and in retrospect, all I proved was my stupidity and carelessness. What a waste. I’m 37. Oldest: maybe a 40? Youngest: maybe 25? Just by the looks, I could go far younger, but I don’t want to have to go through the whole becoming an adult shenanigans again, and I wouldn’t want to have to babysit an insecure person, whose insecurity stems from their lack of experience - important distinction, because some people have some insecure traits (myself included)!!!

Yeah, a lot of people have told me so, he he. But I started my journey into IT with a pretty low level - albeit very beginner friendly - book by Charles Petzold: Code: The Hidden Language of Computer Hardware and Software. I have also been greatly influenced by Linux. I guess these two aspects combined made me pick up C. 😊
