Rather disappointed, awful, like a failure. I’m the one whos supposed to be safe and comforting for them. Of course excluding when they do something bad as anxiety then is kinda expected, but even then the punishment is never unpredictable, cruel or malicious and there’s ample warning before hand.

Though i do understand you, had the same issue when growing up, eventually went on to become kinda debilitating as i couldn’t speak to her at all. Though there is some fault on her as well as she was kinda explosive and unpredictable. Never spoke to her about it, didn’t have the balls/guts.

Kinda, mostly just annoying as those have to be taken down in a month anyway. Just a completely over the top decorating for short while, especially during one of the busiest times of the year.

Last pictures i took where back in February, from independence day parade, but as it contains my kids then I’m not going to post those.

Then in January, though not worth posting as those were trying to glance into a tight space inside a wall for some piping repair work.

Then back in November. Setting up Christmas lights, by just hanging the whole box up on the window handle. But once again that contains too many identifying details to post online.

I do completely agree with him. As i said, I’m not defending it. A simple solution is to just not buy it. It is a luxury good after all.

But does that still result in a ban or just a warning?

Because people aren’t a hive mind. Voting with the wallet doesn’t really work on limited luxury goods due to population scale.

Something like concert tickets or any luxury good is in such a low supply that there will always be enough people with more money or credit than sense.
So there pretty much isn’t a choice of not buying and prices eventually getting lower. The prices of luxury goods will always be as high as possible and thanks to population scale and ad campaigns, that’s going to be rather high.

Though don’t get me wrong, im not advocating in defense of buying expensive useless shit. I’ve quit quite a few things and at least one addiction because the price rose above some predetermined limit. Just that the voting part doesn’t really work anymore.

Estonia, been worse been better. Yeah food prices have increased over the last few years, price of tech has increased as much as in rest of the world and so has the price of many luxury goods, but those are luxury goods. Not that necessary and can be easily replaced or even avoided.

Our eastern neighbor is kinda pain in my assholes, but they have always been there.

But in overall, kinda good actually, though that mostly comes from personal life not from world wide issues. Making my own little bubble enjoyable for me. Not much else i can do.
