It sounds to me like you’ve made a choice somewhere in your 4 decades to not seek out music that’s new or popular. Maybe you have niche tastes or something, your reasons are your own. If you are happy with the music you listen to then you’ve made the right decision for you. In that case though, this list should not surprise you.

I also like to take pictures of art from alternate angles, which works better for sculpture than paintings.
