I’ve had some bad experiences using it for quick answers. I tried it to summarize studies for an open book exam, and it gave me some blatantly wrong answers, as well as some answers that would change based on how I posed the question. I’m not saying it’s entirely useless, but you have to check the source on everything it tells you, at which point you end up doing the reading yourself anyway.
Yes. I have a family member who has to ask Claude everything, and he gets back these self-affirming answers that further cement his already-held opinions.

These endorsements are as much about getting attention to make themselves more employable as they are about championing a cause.
At least it brings awareness to a cause, but you can never really forget that there is an underlying self interest in the whole venture.

And there is no way to know what the people who didn’t vote in think of them. We cannot assume that they all disagree with him or would consider him the worst.
Currently? Perhaps, but if you are taking a poll of the general population you need to keep in mind that almost 50% of the population voted for him and would pick someone from the Democratic Party.
Forever? Probably not. I remember when the world thought nobody could ever be a dumber president than Dubya. And frankly, if Trump didn’t have a snivelling need for love and approval, he would probably implement more of the horrible things he talks about. One day the US could elect that very combination of evil and self-confident.
It’s mostly acceptance that you are already grown up, and a career change involves financially weighing the benefits of the new career vs the lost income to train for it. Add to it the fact that the working runway gets shorter and shorter which reduces the financial payoff, and you’re not changing careers after your 40s unless it’s for love/enjoyment.
I think we were sold a lot of Hollywood bullshit about living for your job and working all evening or dream jobs that involved taking our laptops to Starbucks to plan parties for the rich and famous. But at the end of the day, a job is a job - nobody would pay you to do it if it was that fun. And so my choice is to make as much as I can to allow me to enjoy my leisure time, which means staying in my current career where I have already climbed the ladder.
I agree, I really cringe at emotional social choices I made 20 years ago.
However, I think the better pay is because I have 17 years experience in my field. If I started today, I wouldn’t earn the same because I wouldn’t yet be performing at my current capacity. It’s easier because we went through the suck already.
In what way? Natural peanut butter requires refrigeration, as does any peanut butter you make at home. Maple syrup requires refrigeration. And pizza sauce is perfectly usable after freezing.

There are a plethora of options, but many will not tolerate even a millisecond of inconvenience to find a new website. Honestly, many of the alternative websites even ship faster at this point. Amazon is a marketplace of crap riding on former glory days of quick shipping.
Give more money to make people in favor of data centres? I feel like they already spend an arm and a leg on misinformation campaigns. I’d love to see them spend on the greater good, but I’d rather them spend nothing than invest in the greater detriment.
I see the same in my town in Canada. Largely I choose to think that most Americans vacationing in Canada are probably more sympathetic to why we dislike threats of annexation and economic warfare. And if not, at least they gave us their money and it’s my job not to send it back 🤷♀️
