help-circle

  • Most likely mid-back for me. I might glance (depending on the situation), but I’m trying to climb stairs, so my focus is usually on “not tripping”. Staring at someone’s ass the whole way up… a little creeper. Staring at my feet the whole way up… I might fail at climbing stairs. Guess it also depends on our distance/height and where my eye level sits

  • I never rode motorcycles (albeit once around a neighborhood for a few minutes), but I did ride a bmx-style bike for a lotta years, lotta miles. And I just (this year) learned about how countersteering is inevitable, or you fall

Point is — I used to cut my tire hard to the right, at slower speed, so that I could turn back into a very tight left circle. Never thought about it though, it just worked. I used to play with that to see how close I could get to a 180° turn (like pretending I was a circling buzzard or something)… it was fun. Never knew how cool the underlying physics were

Fast-forward to that one time I was on a motorcycle… I dropped it on it’s side by the second lap of the cul-de-sac (at very low speed). Dunno what happened, but I do remeber cutting around a circle, and being amazed at how far you could lean into a circle at such a slow speed… as if you’re riding the side-wall of the tires. And then I pulled out of the turn and lost balance, slowly dropping it on it’s side

It was so freaking cool to me. But also… man, I couldn’t control the bike with my hips(?) the way I could with a bicycle. It didn’t exactly translate, cause the bike just had more power and weight. Or possibly because the power control was from my hand and not my feet?

On my bike, I used to be able to stand straight up on my pedals (off my seat) without touching the handlebars, and just cruise by steering with my legs/hips… pretty much all leaning for steering. I would stand up straight hands-free, smoking a cig, and steering with my lower body; just cruising lol (I know, I was super cool man). But it was fun. Always to cruise on a motorcycle, but fuck me, I just don’t trust myself to not be dumb

    C’est la vie

  • A friend of mine went out of town and I helped take care of their cats. I realized when I went to feed them, that I didn’t know where their food was. I was about to call my friend, but then realized I could just ask the cats. And sure enough, one of them led me directly to the closet with the food. Easy peasey

  • My wife trained our cat to sit on a chair, right outside the kitchen area. Cause sometimes she just wants to hang out when my wife is cooking, so that’s where she’s allowed to watch from. Nobody wants a cat under your feet when you’re boiling something

  • Your humility is truly inspiring. I can only imagine the amount of good you put out into the world (and that I could only hope to achieve). Especially with the eloquent way in which you speak; fuck… shivers and goosebumps

How easy it is to forget about class, and instead just preach and judge. Cause ya know, division is the only way to peace

Everyone appreciates you’re anger btw, we definitely don’t have enough of it

  • Sorry, sorry… that was sarcasm. It was mostly slavery of orphans, guised as trade-skills. As well as the cancers, they also had hellish injury/death, because ya know… 7 year olds are climbing chimneys

“Put their feet to the fire”… sometimes kids were too afraid to keep climbing, so they lit a fire under them. Sometimes, they became too grown and got stuck in the chimney, possibly dying. Hellish
