  • 36, having consistent existential crisis issues. Living in the most boring ass capital of possibly the most boring-ass state I’ve ever lived in besides Kentucky. Like, I love the moderate pace, nothing too extreme and nothing too slow. But, it kinda drags for so long that everyday feels like forever, worse when I’m working.

I kinda am in the “who gives a fuck” part of my life. Where, I’ve let myself go because it’s been 4 years since I’ve been with someone and I’ve been processing the reality that I probably will not get anyone again because I’m too specific and everyone, I don’t know, feels fake and artificial when put side-by-side against what I’d like to see and have in a person.

So, I’m a tad overweight, not caring what I eat some of the time. I know what I have to do to get the weight down, it’s a matter of caring. Everyday is almost the same old shit for the past 4 years I’ve lived here. And I’ve got zero clue in where I want to take things.

Whenever people say they’re attracted to someone of the opposite sex, despite claiming they’re primarily attracted to the same sex - it’s bisexual. I’m sorry but that’s just fact. Bisexual is an accurate description, when you’re attracted to the other sex while attracted to the same sex, that is by definition, bisexual and should not be treated as an insult.

Now what you can say is that you prefer other women, mostly, moreover than guys. But Lesbian? You’ve challenged that yourself.

  • I’ve seen you post many, many things. A lot of it is thought provoking and engaging. That’s the core importance of contributing to any community.

The problem is the community themselves. Now what has been carried over from Reddit, unfortunately, is this hive-minded process. People only love to read and engage with what aligns with their perspectives. These are the people who feel their opinions are factual and that they are never wrong. They only allow the right way of thinking to be filtered out.

This brings about a large issue across all walks of the internet. The karma system, only worsens that, because now people can feel validated in everything they say. “Ohhhh the more upvotes I got, the more I’m righteous and that my opinion doesn’t smell like shit!” And they let that get way too into their heads to act the way they do.

I’ve found that a lot of people with tons of karma points, tend to be the most uptight, self-righteous bastards you can ever come across.

I don’t fucking care for anything about the karma system, people can take it and choke on it for all I care. What I would want for myself and anyone, is to be able to express, articulate and be able to say my opinions as I see fit. If the idea of someone else’s thoughts offend you, then you’re the problem, whether you like that or not.

  • What people need to get used to, is that you own copies of what you buy. You’re not entitled to own the source codes, unless the developer distributes that freely on their own like ID Software did for Doom (technically the Linux version).

So, what GOG is probably saying is, you’re entitled to the ownership of the copy by buying the copy. It is not restrained by DRM as it would if a game was on Steam or Epic Library (but there can be workarounds, you look that up yourself). You’re allowed to have the copy work offline, download its separate installer to archive for your personal use.

Now, what you aren’t allowed still, is to distribute the copy to other people.

  • I work for a thankless and ungrateful store who successfully met its sales criteria and became the most successful store in the state. However, that doesn’t reflect in how the store is operated and associate morale is constantly shit on. I’m one of the more decent workers, however, my management works me to death and stupidly wonders why my performance fluctuates from time to time.

And this is all to make sure, stupid dumbfucks with wallets (yes I’m talking about moronic fucking customers, fuck all of you) shit is on the shelf so more dumbfuck moronic customers can ask even more dumbfuck questions that don’t relate to anything and shoving their phones in my face.

  • What’s the point of pirating if you’re going to be morally confused?

You either pirate or don’t. Why complicate it?

People pirate for a variety of reasons, but largely it comes down to “cause its free and I can” whether they accept that or not, but it is the truth.

And a lot of the time, people who pirated games, buy them because they wanted to support the developer anyways. They didn’t have this stupid worry that you have here as to whether or not it’ll be popular, it is because the experience was so great, it was worthwhile to buy it anyways.

It’ll only be a waste of money, time and effort pirating the game if the studio or a standout individual involved turns out to be a shitty person. Not because they’re popular, if a small game or studio is popular, then great, we all love to see it. It is until big corporation decides to stamp them out via acquiring or law-suiting them to death is when it is a problem.
