Lol. My ex wife used orange paper once saying that it would be good to stand out. She didn’t even get an interview. She was about 36 at the time.

2·2 months agoImagine me when I first got to Australia as an Englishman to see a big headline in the newspaper saying something like, “Pakis lose to England”.
I was like, Whaaaaaaaaat !!!
I’ve now been here 32 years and I sometimes explain to Aussies that Brits aren’t allowed to use that word, which they’re rather surprised about. Because as you said in your last two sentences.

314·3 months agoI’ve been quite happy to use the AI stuff actually. I’ve asked lots of random questions and within seconds it comes up with answers. Jesus should we go back to having to type in the specific web address to find everything !?

I’ve said it before on Lemmy, but anyway I kept buying a bottle of spirits ready to celebrate. ( well bubbly two times initially ) but I kept drinking them. So now I’ll just wait for the great day to buy. Cheers for the future.
