Oh, Im sorry that u are disappointed with fairphone 🙁But thanks for the side note. I’ll keep that in mind. Since I know absolutely nothing about de-googled systems and phones like this, I unfortunately have to experiment a bit myself. But could you please tell me exactly what you were disappointed about regarding Fairphone

Ah, that makes sense. No worries at all. I don’t take it the wrong way. You are right. In my anger towards Google, I simply didn’t think about that. That’s why I changed the word ‘Junkies’ to ‘Süchtige’ (Addicts). Thanke you.
Thank you for your comment. I am still new here and inexperienced, so your feedback made me happy and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I appreciate you sharing yours with me.😊
I hope the automatic browser translation didn’t confuse you or misrepresent anything. My English isn’t great, so I relied on translation tools hoping you would understand my point.😅
What I was trying to say is basically this: We ‘ordinary people’ possess one of the most powerful weapons we have: boycott. And unlike a gun or other physical weapons, we don’t need to ‘buy’ this weapon. That was the core of my message. Thanks again.
Hi. Thanks for the comment! The confusion likely comes from the automatic translation of my German page. Sorry.
When I wrote ‘We distort this graphic,’ I didn’t mean that I manually change it. I meant that the browser setting privacy.resistFingerprinting automatically spoofs the Canvas data for you.
So, to answer your question about ‘Item 2’: It refers to enabling privacy.resistFingerprinting = true in Firefox’s about:config.
Once this is active, the browser automatically returns a generic, identical Canvas image to every website, preventing them from creating a unique fingerprint based on your GPU. It’s a built-in feature, not a manual process.
Hope that clears it up.
Please let me know if anything is still unclear or if I made any mistakes. My English isn’t great, so I’m using a translator, and I want to make sure I’m communicating correctly!
Thank you so much for explaining this in such detail! I’m still quite new to this ‘privacy world’. If there are any mistakes on my site, I’d really appreciate feedback. And I’m trying my best to understand everything, even though my English isn’t great yet 😅😅
Hey there. To be honest, I’m not really familiar with Mullvad myself. But if you’re looking for a good VPN with solid privacy protection, I can recommend Proton VPN.
One small catch: you do need to sign up. But, registration is free and you don’t even need to provide a phone number. Plus, they are based in Switzerland, which offers strong data protection laws outside of the 5/9/14 Eyes alliances.
I use the whole Proton ecosystem, including their email service. Even with the free version, I’m satisfied. In combination with LibreWolf, this provides strong protection. Maybe you could give it a try.

Hi, sorry my english sucks. I dont undestand your comment. What did you mean with “reddit?” This is my link to my Website in Codeberg.
