As someone who grew up in a place that has had Lyme since the 1980s (VA) we really need to improve access to testing and treatment here in Ontario given our climate now is similar to Virginia’s back then.
If you find a tick on your self Peel the thing of and find a local lab and send it out to get tested for Lyme. This way you can tell with in the week and start treatment aspa.

Hardly any lyme in the upper midwest, it’s mostly on the east coast, idk about the west, I know they’ve that other lone star whatever disease too.
Most Canadians live in the east. In either case, I wouldn’t be the one to risk not checking.
I’m below Ontario which is the most populous province last I heard.
