Worked for me.
Yes. Everything will be as you left it. They just restarted development and updated the name to reflect that. You can even play the game on mobile devices with your original account if you wanted to.
Thank you for this. I skipped Reforged because I assumed I’d have to a) purchase a new account/access and b) would have to start fresh.

A new GW1 expansion in 2027 was not on my bingo card. I hope they keep the 8 slot skill bar, building around it was half the game.

I have more hours than I’d like to admit to myself logged in Guild Wars 1 and 2, and haven’t booted 1 in years. This is exciting, looking forward to a reason to dust off my old characters.
Honestly in the meantime if you haven’t recently go dive into the GW2 content. All the most recent expacs are good, story is fuckin amazing. End of Dragons I didn’t like because onw of the maps is HORRIBLE but everything else was preem
Last new content I was able to play in GW2 was the beginning of the astral place with the pretty floating sky palaces. I haven’t had much time to sink, didn’t even get a Halloween achievement skin this year 😫 I like Wintersday so I’ll need to make sure I set some time aside for bell choir. Tough to do new content sometimes
