It is foolish to assume that just because you have never seen something that it must therefore be impossible to exist I have personally donated several pirated DVDs and Blurays to my local library. It is possible if you have the will and determination to do such a thing.
Someone could download the movie, burn it to disc, and then donate it to a local library. Nothing magic about that. Unless personal generosity is magic.
