I’m looking to have a single Cat6 cable run in my condo’s ceiling (post-construction, of course), with an AP mounted and a tiny patch panel where the fibre comes in. (There was Cat5e already running to most of the rooms when we purchased it, I don’t think they’re worth changing).

Does anyone have recommendations for a company to go with? There are many in Toronto when I do a general search so interested in some real-world experience.

Thanks!

A few years ago in North York, Daliran Electric did a quick and decent job with a light fixture re-wiring that I couldn’t do-it-myself because of a junction box issue.

It doesn’t necessarily say they do communication wiring, but you can call and ask, they should be able to handle it if it’s one cable. Their rates weren’t bottom-dollar but I don’t recall them being unreasonable given they were able to call out quickly. You can ask for a quote.

Thanks! Their website suggests electrical wiring only and no mention of a patch panel, but I appreciate the suggestion
