Members of the EU have purposely grouped their sovereignty in a way that makes them stronger and still with decent autonomy. Russia and N Korea have been forced economically to do anything that China wants. Not really the same.
who told you that? both of them have nukes, its just the sanctions that make them dependent on china nothing else.
They both need China’s help to survive I no their current form. China can pretty much dictate economic conditions between them.
