    I live in walking distance to work and pass a gas station. Been watching it. Monday night on my way home at 9pm it was $3.20, Tuesday at noon it was $3.49. Tonight it was $3.59. And still my boss doesn’t understand why I choose to walk for half an hour instead of drive in five.

    My commute would be three hours each way by bike (if I had the stamina to even ride that long). God, I hate this country. Someday, though.

    I feel like its only a matter of time until governments charge cyclists the same road tax as drivers to make up for them not buying petrol

      Possible. Although it’d be financially stupid, because bikes do less road damage, so they save repair money. Would not stop lots of politicians, of course.
