So nope. Sony being anti consumer isn’t because of their licensing agreement here. They take the same exact split that steam does for the same reasons. They don’t pay for download hosting on the PS store or steam store except for that 30% revenue split.
Which highlights again why people are pissed. It isn’t about the discs really, its about Sony fucking people and taking what they bought away with a proven track record of doing just that. The discs were just the only way to prevent them from doing that.
