Lengthy negotiations are expected as the Trump administration seeks changes to a trade deal with Mexico and Canada that has streamlined supply chains across North America.
Don’t think so. Not in the foreseeable future. But we can start trading with more friction and therefore do more to protect important sectors. The increased friction would increase the need for doing more ourselves, as well as trade with non-US countries.
