    This is some insane level corporate tone-deafness.

    They literally used AI to integrate themes from a violent political suppression event into their marketing.

    It’d be like Starbucks USA commemorating Kent State with a “Let the Bodies Hit the Floor” promotion.

    Marketers chose the “thwack” slogan after consulting an AI tool for suggestions, Shinsegae Group said. It turned out some managers who approved the campaign never opened the email attachments showing the marketing material.

    Yet again, we see that marketers being harmful lying parasites and managers being overpaid slackers.
