They only thing that matters to them is power, whether it’s power they can physically hold, or power derived from culture, in-groups, and their hierarchies to aid them in achieving what they want even if they don’t have the clout to force it. Trump and MAGA offer that second kind of power, the kind to bring back white, Christian, male privilege in a way that even their ancestors didn’t enjoy because what they’re trying to make is event rooted in reality but the myth of what that reality was. They won’t. The magats where I live wont even contact the democratic congressional or Senate offices to help them with stuff since “those damn liberals are useless”. So they don’t get their SS or other fed program issues resolved and just complain about it on nextdoor constantly instead.
The only way to make these people see reason is to cut the propaganda, anything else is wholly insufficient and or inconsistent.
