It looks a lot like the style of Sergio Aragones, who was one of MAD’s “usual gang of idiots” (known for the “A Mad Look At…” feature and the “Drawn-Out Dramas” cartoons in the page margins throughout each issue) as well as a prolific comics guy in his own right (“Groo the Wanderer,” etc.)
Some web searches reveal a few Wonder Woman releases with Sergio’s name on, but I haven’t yet been able to pin this particular image to any of them.
Oh yeah, I was trying to find that bent nose shape that the mugger has, but when I searched Sergio’s name with Mad nothing immediately came up for it (at least on the first page… I didn’t look very hard). But then I remembered he did Groo, where that nose is more plentiful.
Except Wonder Woman has an invisible jet. She’s the one character where it makes sense that she would be leaping down from nowhere.
Is that from Mad? I know I’ve seen the art style before but I can’t quite place the artist.
It’s from Sergio Aragonés Destroys DC, an actual DC comic one-off he did.
