It looks like “petit theft” is a valid alternative spelling of “petty theft”, and AFAICT it’s the spelling that Florida law uses. Probably because “petty” is an anglicization of the French word “petit”, meaning “small”.

My e-bike has gotten me more confident and interested in biking! I’ve done some social rides, and for those I turn the motor off. I was surprised how well my 50 lb bike rides unassisted (after a couple of years of e-biking on class 1 bikes, getting me in better pedaling shape). Even with a 1x9 drive train I didn’t have any trouble with hills that some other riders struggled with. Last weekend I went on a 21 mile ride unassisted with no problem!

Rating roads sounds like a useful way to crowdsource! I noticed that RideWithGPS has heat maps, which I think is a similar idea in that it’s data on which roads cyclists prefer. But I didn’t see any indication that the app takes heat map data into account for generated routes.
