When I rolled my character on that WoW server, I didn’t expect to move so far from home and spend the rest of my life with someone I’d meet online.

There are certainly more, but owing to the fact I have to actively work to evict them, I hesitate to put more thought to it.

I was assisting a customer the other day for about 20 minutes. Elderly woman, her husband in tow. He had advanced Parkinson’s, I learned. She had a very self-depreciating and gentle demeanor. I frequently assist older customers through complex ordering processes and find that my patience goes a long way to alleviate their technology anxieties.

At the end she praised Trump for what I presume she felt was a reasonable, low price or sales tax on her order. She asked me if I was a supporter and I gently told her I thought he was the worst person alive and ought to be in prison. Her counter to this was that he’d opened the Strait. I reminded her that he was the one responsible for its closure in the first place.

She elected to drop the subject.

Today, in light of this, I am reminded of one woman’s utter ignorance and disregard for reality, and wonder if any of this will reach her under the rock she surely lives under. I can only wish her well- Parkinson’s is a cruel disease and watching her husband deteriorate must be truly painful.

Black coffee if its a drip, pour-over, or French press. But for an espresso beverage, I’m going with oat milk. Lactose intolerant, I’ve tried soy and almond milk, don’t care for them. Oat milk, to me, blends with the flavors better and I enjoy it with cereal or by itself.

God fucking damn it

No TV in the bedroom, just the living room. I do find comfort at times from a soft livestream, but I normally sleep better in quiet darkness.

I understand the hard-line approach, but for me it’s situational. A laptop for those times is sufficient.

Sports culture. Betting, fantasy leagues, statistics. I immediately flatline if the conversation turns to it
