  • So, I’m not a believer in ghosts, so this is just some random unexplainable event in my mind. After the funeral of one of my grandpas, we got a call on the cordless landline in the kitchen. Caller ID was his name, no number. My mom answered and nothing on the other end.

This post also made me think about something I should have absolutely been way too young to remember. Probably the oldest memory I somehow have, which is specifically the imagery of one of the bathrooms in the house my grandparents lived in. Just the imagery of a dark room, but only a set of stairs that lead to an attic you couldn’t use because you’d fall through. Opposite wall from the toilet and sink. Not really an occurance, but the fact I can remember that despite the fact I was absolutely most likely still in diapers is kinda chilling.

  • For context before I spout my hunch, within the past maybe month or so, someone who worked as a news hostess in the US had her mother kidnapped and hasn’t been found and/or returned yet ( dead or alive ) with no arrests so far.

Given the general climit in the US right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if the person who did it knew exactly who they were kidnapping and did it out of spite/hatred for this news hostess. Especially since, IIRC, this happened in Texas.

As to what has happened to the mother since, that’s up for debate since there’s basically not much evidence in the case besides a doorbell camera showing the man coming, mask on with a gun, and trying to block the camera with his hand. That’s the latest I heard.

  • The way I see it, no fair and just deity would ever tell you to believe in them before yourself. Believing in them before yourself is the kinda language narcissistic predators use to ensnare people.

So, is the ad trying to paint Jesus as a narcissist? Not intentionally, but damn do they do a horrific job of trying to relate to probably a massive chunk of people, moreso than those who are supposed to relate to it.

I also refuse to believe their is a fair and just deity who would give you a single glance if you don’t believe in yourself first and foremost.

  • First weekend of April, end of my spring break before spring quarter college starts, I am going with the college club I am a part of to an anime convention. I’m excited because of my “cosplay” I am doing.

The costume in question is not something for everyone, but I spent maybe around $600USD for a fursuit head ( 3 eyed snow leapord w/ 2 detachable tongues ) from someone on TheDealersDen and a separate set of paws from a different maker on there.

We almost had to cancel for reasons I won’t say, but we have it sorted out for now.

The only thing that sucks is I need to cut my long hair so it doesn’t stick out at the bottom of my neck, where the suit head ends. That, and it’s a little hard to see out of the head. Gotta tilt my head one way or the other or I ain’t able to see.

  • From when I used to go on there for a couple yt people whose videos are also simultaneously on there, I noticed it wasn’t the nicest of platforms. On a particular Canadian I used to watch, I would notice some people in the comments calling him an Indian ( Asian, not native ) n-word and a few other things I wasn’t okay with.

I had also noticed a lot of kinda deep conspiracy type content in the default home video whatever menu thing ( like on yt ). Also some less than stellar, IMO, political stuff. There was a cool artist that I would occasionally we drawings from, though, but that was far and few in between the more alternative content I would see.

Needless to say, I kinda ditched the platform and am reminded I still need to delete my account if I can.

The alternative nature of the platform kinda kicked me away from it. Otherwise, it was an okay enough platform. Not a fan of the whole cryptocurrency like things you could get for watching videos on platform and then send it to creators you like, too. That felt wrong in many ways, but it is what it is.
