Not sure what to believe, but I was pretty sad to hear that podcast. A lot of people’s reasons were kind of weird too, like they just lack community and feel isolated and church is a community. I think this is a bad reason to prop up religion. Community is definitely lacking in America, but something else should fill that gap than church.
The rich and powerful want us to believe that religion is the in thing so people will flock to church, mainly to be controlled and managed.
Find your own like-minded community.
