Conventionally, when we need something, we visit the market, enter the shops, and ask for our commodities. But with shopping apps having come up, all we need is just look up the items in our mobile phone, click on it, make the payment, and lo! in 10 minutes the door bell rings and the commodity arrives. Isn’t it the exact relation between a server and the client ??

hey sorry, i wasvery buisy. plus i read varoufakis with half sn eye ‘ages’ ago. as farasi can recall he thinks of cloudspace in an analogy of land. a space in which economic activity of societies increasingly takes place, so that those who own the compute basically control all human activity, like landlords did.
they don’t just dominate a market like a monopoly would, but they own the market like feudal lords would.
iam unsure about this bc cloudspace is a machine. it requires work to run snd maintain. it is capital not land. though, the new dominance of tech corpos over communication and with it markets is indeed a new phaenomenon?
Thanks for bringing it up.
